So, I need to provide a series of Australia-centric photos to our web developer in Vietnam to incorporate them into our website to differentiate ourselves as an Australian business from our parent company in Singapore.
Does anyone have a good site to look at for stock images, or can anyone suggest any good landmarks that I could use for each of our major cities? I'm having a bitch of a time finding anything good.

Why the fuck is this news?
There's always tonnes of other piece of shit articles all the time, across all the different types of media, but really... why do we give a shit what dog Obama has and why is it on the front page of SMH?
I'm going to go back to living under a rock. All this 'news' is stifling.
In the meantime, I have restarted watching Battlestar Galactica from the first season and if any of you cunts make a post about BSG's finale I will hunt you down and eat your intestines.

So the only part I remember of a dream last night, is that I was visiting gevauden in some fictional home that he apparently lived in.
There was a desktop PC with the lid off, and all the insides smashed, whilst a huge mallet was sitting next to it. I asked him "WTF happened here?"... Tim's reply "I was fixing it."
He then proceeded to pull out a red, plastic, keyboard (the instrument kind) with a shoulder strap and told me that he was now in a band and that it was really, really cool. The keyboard also had a shitload of cables and stuff hanging out of it, like he was trying to emulate NIN in the 80's or something.
I remember thinking he was a bit nuts, but at the same time, it's all definitely something I could see him doing. Heh.

I got Bigpond cable. I had forgotten just how awesome cable actually is.
2.7MBps? Yes please.
The new house is slowly forming into a livable space, now that we have a couch to sit on and we have our mattress cleaned... internet makes life easier too.
Few things to buy now like some more bookshelves, kitchen equipment, desks, chairs, and eventually a dining table of some description.
It's so nice to finally have our own home.

So Leash and I are now moved into our new place in Marsfield, we just need to keep moving some stuff down and get a few other bits and pieces sorted out.
In the meantime, it appears that I can't get ADSL2+ because I am on a Pair Gain or RIM system, according to iiNet, though Telstra say they could offer it fine. Though, in the meantime, we are connected to the Epping exchange which is pretty far away, and expected speeds are about 2.5Mbps in our area anyway. I guess that's what happens when you live right next to a national park.
So, I'm looking in to Bigpond cable. I've always been an advocate against Telstra services, but it seems that this is the best option as the house is already cabled.
Is anybody using Bigpond cable? If so, how do you find the services, particularly international connections? I play WoW, so I don't want to get a connection with crappy international pings.
Generally what speed do you tend to get on data transfers? Also, if you are on a shaped plan, is the 64Kbps just a speed shape and not a packet dropping system?

Alicia and I have been accepted as the new tenants of 17/13 Busaco Rd in Marsfield.
It's a 2 bedroom place, with a nice little courtyard, large lounge room and main bedroom with a balcony and built-in mirrored wardrobe. The bathroom and the kitchen are a little dated, but they are still clean and suitable. Worst part is no dishwasher. NOOOO!
Anyway, the place is pretty awesome and we're so excited to finally have our own place after years and years of sharing. I got so many cool things to decorate with too, especially the stuff from Japan.
We'll sign the papers this Friday, then move in on Saturday before going to a 21st party in the evening. It's going to be a tiring weekend.
Either way, finally a new job and new home within a week.
God, I'm afraid of how much stuff we might need to buy. Heh.

I am now gainfully employed on a full time basis as of Monday on $60K per year before super, which is higher than I expected to receive, with really good opportunities in the future.
$4000 take home a month? That's definitely a nice start.
Plus it's fun technologies, a good boss, working with Scott again and a company that is embryonic in it's new form after being bought late last year.
Now to find a home!
